Halal

In Malaysia, many food stalls have this "Halal" certification placed to inform Muslim patrons that the food served fulfills the Islamic dietary law (which is similar to the Jewish's kosher).

This stall in Sunway Pyramid serves Chinese porridge and breads. Coincidentally you can see the Tony Roma signage reflected on the glass display. Even Tony Roma's serves halal food in Malaysia. That means no pork ribs ~ a signature dish of this restaurant. Therefore, many Tony Roma customers who favour this dish have to travel a long distance across the Causeway to Singapore to enjoy it!

  1. I've read the other day that there is a McDonalds in France serving halal burgers.

  2. I would like to eat there. I follow the dietary laws found in the Bible.
