A kopi tiam or coffee shop can be found in many nook and corners of Malaysia. It is in this kind of traditional coffee shop that I can find a cup of kopi-O served with freshly toasted bread with butter & kaya and the flavour of olden days! This is what I can't find in Starbucks or Coffee Beans or one of those local franchise coffee shops that have been mushrooming everywhere in recent years.
