The dumpling festival, called Duan Wu Jie falls on 23 June this year. Recently a friend gave us a cooking lesson on how to prepare this Zong Zi dumpling, wrapped in bamboo leaves. Our group of 8 had a fun time struggling to get our dumplings wrapped in the pyramid-like shape. Have you tried this dumpling before? What kind of flavour do you like?
Very interesting experience. I had a go a few years ago and it was not easy.
