I am in support of Internet Blackout Day, a campaign initiated by Centre for Independent Journalism (CIJ), seeking for Freedom of online expression in my country! The recently passed new Evidence Amendment (No.2) Act will deem an internet user who posted comments deemed as slanderous as G-U-I-L-T-Y until proven otherwise. This is contrary to the principle of law where one is innocent until proven guilty. Therefore, we are seeking Malaysian government to repeal this amendment immediately.
