Vadai Seller

Has anyone of you tried vadai? This is a south Indian snack. There are a few varieties of vadai. In this photo, you see the flat round dhall vadai and the doughnut ring vadai. I love the crispy dhall vadai. We can always find vadai at our local night market. The night market in Subang Jaya is held on every Tuesday and Sunday. It's a good haunt for local food and fruits! If you are in Subang Jaya on these days, make sure you visit the night market, or we locals call "pasar malam".

Have you been to any "pasar malam" in Malaysia?

I like this a lot - good color, good composition, good example of daily life in your city.

"Use your first smile, your first form of generosity, of love, of kindness—use it at home; start at home. And if there is something left over—if … your plate is just full of abundance of patience and goodness and smiles and joy, then by all means, you should go … and offer that to others. But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
