Lovely Nyonya Kebayas

Saw this Nyonya Kebayas in one of the shops on Melaka's Jonker Walk! Really attractive!
Nice colour combinations and the embroideries are so intricate!

"Nyonya Kebaya" is the name of these tops worn by Straits Chinese. These tops are worn with colourful sarongs (pareos).

I always love the designs of Nyonya Kebaya. And the baskets, tingkats and iron are good reminders of the past. Thanks for such a nice photo. And I love to stroll Jonker Street when I visit Malacca. :)

But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
