Line Dancing Hits the Street

Line dancing enthusiasts from various groups in Melaka came together to organize a line dancing party on the street at Jonker Walk last Sat. I was so fortunate to be able to witness the event. There was no age limit! You can see the young and the old dancing to the beat of Bollywood music or Abba's Dancing Queen! It was truly fun to see them being engrossed in their dances. Some tourists were so drawn by their performances that they also hop in and joined in the beat!

Every Sat nite, this place called Jonker Walk will have line dancing in one of the local association building, and in another 3-4 buildings, there would be karaoke session. One only needs to pay Malaysian Ringgit (RM1) to sing a song! So it's quite a lot of activities ongoing here on the weekend, starting from Fri nite till Sun.

Cool! I love Dancing Queen!

"Use your first smile, your first form of generosity, of love, of kindness—use it at home; start at home. And if there is something left over—if … your plate is just full of abundance of patience and goodness and smiles and joy, then by all means, you should go … and offer that to others. But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
