Do the people who live in the street get a say in it? We have nothing like this in Tasmania, thanks for sharing it.
Hi Kris, So far no one complain coz the trader's mobile shop doesn't block traffic flow or affect the residential. The mobile shop is usually set up in wider street.
Very interesting. We dont have such mobile shop. I like some of the furnitures and the 3 and 4 tiers baskets looked useful for the kitchen. :)
hey, we have something quite similar in mumbai.. except that here the shops are set up every day, every hour... only when a police van is coming around, do the shops wrap up and disappear, only to spring back out once the van has moved on... their efficiency is amazing..
i've been busy revamping my blog. and i've got my own domain now, so im no longer hosting on blogspot. the new address is:

Hi, i am looking for a rattan hula hoop and i am so glad to know about this mobile rattan shop. But i am staying in Petaling Jaya, i never go Subang Jaya there, can you give me the detail address/ location of this mobile shop and can you tell me how to go there from University of Malaya? Please reply me ASAP. Thanks
Hi Kitsch,
This mobile shop is located at SS14/2A, Subang Jaya. It's behind a row of shops across of Metropolitan College. It's usually on weekend. It's safer to go on a Sunday.
I have created a map using Google Map to help you find your way. The link is here: http://picasaweb.google.com/subangjayadailyphoto/July2008?feat=directlink#5300043051154004866
Hope it helps! :o)
Hi there! I'm so glad I found your blog. Have been looking for rattan furniture from "uncle" businesses such as this. Thought it was a lost cause! Thanks for highlighting this!
Now, was wondering if it's still in operation since this post was two years ago? Thank you!
