Balinese Food Galore

We have a growing Balinese food outlets in Klang Valley now. There are Bumbu Bali, Ole-Ole Bali and another that I can't recall its name. We had dinner at Bumbu Bali and we ordered this Nasi Bumbu Bali. It is a platter of white rice came with sate, fried chicken, grilled squid, big prawns, prawn cracker, blanched vegie, fruits and accompanied by chilli sauce and garlic chilli sauce. It was a huge serving for one, so we shared among 3 of us. It's our first time trying Balinese food, and trust me, it's definitely delicious!

Hi Mardhiya, this is in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia. I am not familiar with Nasi Padang which hail from Sumatra (if I am not mistaken). There are many Nasi Padang stalls too in Malaysia. But since I am not familiar, I can't tell you if this is similar to Nasi Padang.

yes it's from sumatra but sadly there are relatively few nasi padang restaurants in the klang valley. now that i think about it this dish doesn't really look like nasi padang but i'll surely check it out when i'm back home. you should try eating at selero negori located at kelana jaya and subang (the shoplots in front of carrefour). they're amazing.
