Fish Spa

You may have heard of body spa but have you heard of Fish Spa? This theraphy is getting more and more popular lately.

As you can see in this photo, customers are seated by a big water tank and had their deep in the water with tiny fishes pecking and nibbling their feet. These fishes will actually help in removing the dead cells on our feet.

It was my first time experience and you bet, it was very ticklish at the beginning when the little fishes came pecking on my toes and heels. I was giggling and laughing away. But after I settled down and enjoyed the comfortable cool water, it was very relaxing just sitting there and enjoy the pecking sensation. And it's a good way of de-stressing too!

I would never be able to relax with fishes eating my toes :) btw what do they do to the ones that become too big after so many dead cells?

Hahaha, yes it was ticklish. I had my first experience in Daegu, South Korea. The fishes were bigger and the water warm. I felt frightened at first but after a while it definitely was relaxing and hope more fishes would nibble away my feet...lol. I would recommend all to try it out.

I heard about this during the Olympics. A Kiwi newscaster tried it, and in the end, she LOVED it.

Hee...hee.. I didn't expect this post to receive so many comments.

If you have not tried this fish spa, give it a try! I have rough sole before the spa but after it, my soles are smooth and most of the dead cells have been feasted by the fishes!! Bet it was a big feast for them! Ha ha aha...
