Monochrome Monday - Incense Urn

I was fascinated by this incense urn. It was a great photography subject. There's a pair of lion heads carved on each side of the urn. The burning incense sticks with smoke flowing heaven-wards was another interesting subject. Another interesting subject would be the reflection from this shiningly polished brass urn. Oh, so many photography opportunities! I took it from various angles. Eventually, I think this is the best of my many shots! I like the ways light being reflected from the lion head. Hope you like this photo too.

Happy Monochrome Monday!

This is a great shot and the angle is perfect.

"Use your first smile, your first form of generosity, of love, of kindness—use it at home; start at home. And if there is something left over—if … your plate is just full of abundance of patience and goodness and smiles and joy, then by all means, you should go … and offer that to others. But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
