SkyWatch Friday - Tugu Negara

This photo was taken on a sunny afternoon at the National Monument or locally we call it Tugu Negara. The monument was erected to honour the soldiers who gave their lives in the cause of peace and freedom, especially during Malaysia's fight against the threat of Communism during the Emergency period (1948-1960). There are 7 human figures build of bronze on the monument and each represents one quality - courage, leadership, sacrifice, strength, suffering, unity and vigilance.

Watch the skies in other cities at the Sky Watch Portal. Wish you a peaceful weekend ahead.

It looks like a lovely day and you've captured it in a lovely photo. Terima kasih for skywatching.
