Theme Day: Dec 08 - Circles or Spheres - Eye on Malaysia

A peaceful morning at the Eye on Malaysia's old site, Lake Titiwangsa, would fit Dec's theme of Circles or Spheres. The reflection on the water form the plural entity of the Eye On Malaysia to fit today's theme.

As I reflect on the scene here, it is so peaceful and calm. But when I recall the news on today's frontpage regarding the terror attack in Mumbai, India and protests ongoing in Bangkok, Thailand, I can't seem to be calm. It makes me worry what is happening to our world. Why would people kill one another? Why is there so much of unrest and anger? Isn't there a better way to resolve differences? I wish that calm and peace would come to Mumbai and Bangkok.
My prayer for the people in Mumbai to be strong and calm as they deal with their losses and lives after this terror. And may there be a peaceful end to the unrest in Thailand. May the world has more love for one another.

Super choice for today and how lovely to see this beautiful wheel and its reflection.

I meant to say J.C. that I so agree with your comments. What happened in Mumbia was totally shocking. And the unrest in Bangkok. I too wish peace and harmony to this troubled world of ours.

Wow, a beautiful double wheel! Blue sky, blue sea, all we miss here in France in November where every day is rainy and grey...
I read your thoughts about these last events...Of course, we can hope a best future but I'm afraid we are going towards a more and more violent world. To many differences, to many poors, an arrogant luxury, that gives so many reasons to be unsatisfied. I don't say it's a good reason for being violent but I think it gives reasons to some people to be. Difficult in English...

Beautiful photo of The Eye. Love the way you capture the reflection in the water.

So sad to read so much bad news in the papers. First the airport closed in Bangkok (I love Thailand so much-so sad,now we cant go shopping in Bangkok).

Then another bad bad news in Mumbai, one of our fellow Singaporean held as hostage and killed at gunpoint, shot in the head and abdomen ...very very sad. She is only 28 and a very talented lawyer and just celebrated her 1st wedding anniversary.

Now I wish for World Peace.

I love the huge ferris wheel!

The Mumbai attack was just horrible! I'm glad the Bangkok protest has been quite peaceful. Very disruptive of services though. My brother-in-law and a colleague were stuck there for several days. My brother-in-law got home yesterday, but my friend's still in transit.

Anyway, happy theme day!

Ah... I have not been up the one in KL. Read that it has been taken down and moved to Melaka.

Maybe I should visit Melaka soon too! ;-)

But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
