Chinese New Year - Dried Meat



Various kind of dried preserved meats are now available in Petaling Street. These meat are usually served during Chinese New Year. Hanging at the back of the owner is rows of waxed ducks. Below them are preserved pork belly. The meat on the foreground are waxed duck thighs. Then there are various types of sausages to choose from!

Wow those waxed duck make good rice taste yummy. I will cook my rice together with the waxed duck, chinese sausages and mushroom. Yummy. It is simple and dont take up much time and leave me time to go visiting during Chinese New Year. :)

Everything is so tempting! Sigh, but I'm trying to avoid all kinds of meats, including poultry, especially salted, preserved ones.
