We were at a street concert organized by the newly launched radio station One FM (transmission: Klang Valley FM88.1) at Jalan Bukit Bintang on the evening of Valentine's Day. One side of this busy street was closed to traffic, where a stage was built. It was amazing to see the large crowds hanging out on this street for the special day. The concert presented local and international Chinese artists from Malaysia and also Taiwan. Will try to share more photos that I took in the next few postings.
Have you attended a street concert before?

No, I've never attended a street concert. It looks fascinating and exciting and your pictures have captured that excitement as well as the glorious colors very well.
Hi, I was one of the unfortunate motorists who was stuck in the jam caused by this ridic~ shindig. Does the organiser understand how much hassle the rest of us had to go through just to pass through this area? I would not be surprised in half of the motorists on the road that evening were involved in an unfortunate accident. Who did they have to bribe to get this nonsense approved! Bladi_Hell!
Hi Anonymous,
I was also caught by surprise when the road in front of Sg. Wang was blocked. Fortunately I was heading to Park Royal Hotel, so the distance to travel from where the jam began was short. But that also took me 20 mins to cover a 1kilometer distance. After the concert, the traffic jam was worst! It was a coincidence that I was in that part of KL. I would never go downtown if I knew there is an even such as this.
Btw, the concert organizer is One FM, the radio station under the TV3 umbrella. So you know how it gets its license la..... :o)
Don't be upset, after all, it was Valentine's Day ~ a day of universal love!
