USJRA's Family Day

Our suburb, USJ (UEP Subang Jaya) Residents' Association organized a Family Day with New Straits Times press on 22 March at the MPSJ Stadium. Although we have been staying in this suburb for over 15 years, this is our first time attending the event.

This photo was taken at the Spell-It-Right Challenge tent. It's a spelling bee quiz for participants, who comprised of children and adult categories. It was real fun to watch the participants been tested. From observing the participants, it was obvious that being calm is important as some participants were so nervous that they stumbled when spelling simple words.

This posting is my participation for That's My World Tuesday's meme. Check out what others are posting to represent their world by clicking on the link above.

A spelling bee at the association meeting is very creative.

Lovely event. We do have a family day in our neighbourhood too and I think I attended once only.

Those kids are so little! I can't imagine how they could not be nervous!

have a great week.

"Use your first smile, your first form of generosity, of love, of kindness—use it at home; start at home. And if there is something left over—if … your plate is just full of abundance of patience and goodness and smiles and joy, then by all means, you should go … and offer that to others. But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
