Christmas at Pavillion

Even though Christmas has passed, the lightings and display for Christmas can still be seen at malls.  One of the more famous Christmas decorations in town can be found in Pavillion mall.  This photo showed the decoration at the entrance of the mall.

The theme for this year's Christmas decoration is based on the Cinderella's fairy tale.  At the centre court, there's a golden coach set on a high pedestal, encrusted with Swarovski crystals that bling-ed sparklingly under the bright spot light. The coach was surrounded by 40-feet tall, beautifully-adorned Christmas trees!!!
The only word I can describe this scene is:  fabulous!

Christmas Cheers in KLCC

Seen here is the Christmas decorations in Suria KLCC mall.  The rush of Christmas shopping can be felt in malls in town. We experience problem in getting a parking slot and the crowd in the mall.  However, all the stress of shopping seems to dissipate, replaced by a feeling of warmth and joy upon seeing  the Christmas decors and listening to the Christmas carols played by the mall. I just love Christmas!

By the way, I have seen the The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and it's mind-blowing!  Stunning scenery. Happy singing dwarves. Beautiful story.  Lotsa actions. Creative creatures! I love the acting of Gollum too!  And the Hobbit, Bilboa Baggins ~ great acting!  I can't wait for the 2nd film, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, which is due next Dec and the third film, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, due in July 2014.

Festive Season Has Started

The Christmas decor in Pavillion mall is up! X'mas songs are being played. Surrounded by this scene and the music, it really make one feels that X'mas is just around the corner!

Dickens Christmas

The One Utama mall featured Charles Dickens Christmas with beautiful songs from Oliver Twist being played in the background. It reminds me of the cute boy who played Oliver and singing away...food, glorious food!

As we celebrate this festive season, let's also be reminded of all the blessings that we have. Do also have some thoughts for the less fortunate, who may be suffering from hunger or even the cold out there. It may not be snowing here in Malaysia but the heavy rains do make the evening chilling. I wish those who are homeless out there will find some warmth during these cold nites.

As Christmas is only 2 days away, today's posting will certainly be 'W' is for Wonderful Christmas!! This is a scene taken at Suria KLCC mall. How's your preparation for Christmas coming along? Surprisingly on my end, it's going to be a busy weekend, starting tomorrow. There are a number of parties to attend and reunions with old classmates. X'mas at Berjaya Times Square

Here's a Christmas scene from Berjaya Times Square mall in KL. All malls in town are packed with customers doing their last minute shopping for Christmas or just hanging out with families as its school holiday period in Malaysia and Singapore. Yah, you may wonder why I mention Singapore here. Many Singaporeans visit Malaysia during school holiday.

Jesters at Sunway's Magnifique Christmas

The theme of Sunway Pyramid's Christmas decoration for this year is Magnifique Christmas. This afternoon 2 jesters dressed in colourful costumes made an appearance to have photo session with customers at the mall. Coincidentally I was there with my nieces and nephews and we got to pose with them. Aren't their costumes lovely?

Christmas Decoration - Mahkota Parade

Christmas decorations are already up in Mahkota Parade mall in Melaka. It's nice to see each mall offers different kind of creativity when festive season arrives. I am looking forward to KL's MidValley Megamall as every year it delivers awesome surprises to shoppers, in terms of its mall decoration. I wonder what is the theme for its Christmas decor this time around!

ABC Wednesday - 'X' is for X'mas Joy

'X' is for X'mas Joy! Christmas brings a lot of happiness to many of us. Not only the shopping malls are beautifully decorated to bring a twinkle to our eyes, but the chirpy Christmas songs also make us sing along. The festive atmosphere do brings along lotsa joy to everyone.

Now that X'mas is over, we in Malaysia are looking forward to the next festive celebration, i.e. Chinese New Year ~ that is only a month away.
