Commuter Train

This is a commuter train that one can take to Kuala Lumpur (KL) city or to Port Klang. It's convenient, comfortable and an easy way to avoid the traffic jam on Federal Highway.

The most memorable experience with taking this commuter train happened to me a few years back. I had made plans to meet up with friends in KL city centre after work. I took the commuter train from Subang Jaya to KL Sentral (the central station). As the train pulled out of Subang Jaya station, I called my friends and they were driving out of the car park at Jalan Sultan Ismail, that was 15 mins walk from our meeting point. From there I switched to the Low Rapid Transit (LRT) train that took me to Bukit Bintang. I arrived at our meeting point earlier than my friends.

So, can you imagine how bad was the after-office-hour traffic jam in downtown KL? My journey of 40 mins by train beat the car ride from a destination that is 15-min walk away!! Preposterous, right?

Your trains are very colorful. Is that advertising on the outside?

Sounds like an excellent way to travel and it looks a little like the new trams in Nice!

It is also a very colorful train and I bet it is cheaper than any other way. Nice.

I too prefer to take the trains, they are faster and convenient. Your train looked so colourful.

But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
