Panoramic Melaka Riverside

A panoramic view of Melaka River near Kg. Morten.
We took a walk along the Melaka River and visited Kg. Morten on the 1st day of Hari Raya. It was such a beautiful morning, bright and cool. We even got to see the live telecast of a Hari Raya celebration in Kg. Morten where the villagers cooked dodol and ketupat for visitors to see and taste. Further down from Kg. Morten, we came to this Pirate Fair and we had the opportunity to sneak into the fair and took photos on the pirate ship and Melaka Eye ferris wheel...yup, I meant we sneaked in! It was fun and the kids enjoyed a lot of laughter and excitement before we adjourned to breakfast.

"Use your first smile, your first form of generosity, of love, of kindness—use it at home; start at home. And if there is something left over—if … your plate is just full of abundance of patience and goodness and smiles and joy, then by all means, you should go … and offer that to others. But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
