No problem for me with your baguettes, I'm French! But I've never seen this vegetable before...A kind of nice cabbage?

It looks like Kohlrabi on steroids. I grew Kohlrabi in south Florida but if I let it grow more the 3 inches across it would get too tough to eat. The Kohlrabi from cooler areas are sweeter then the ones that I grew.

Sorry, I don't know what's the name of this vegie. It's difficult communicating with the local street vendors as most of them don't speak English. I took this picture because I find the vegie fascinating. Look like cabbage but they are not.
