Kerang, Sotong & Kangkung

Kerang, Sotong & Kangkung - those are Cockles, Cuttlefish & Water Convolvulus. These are popular food at our local hawker stall.

The cockles are usually blanch quickly in boiling water and eaten semi-rare, where the red juice is still flowing. Many who loves cockles enjoy it that way.

The Cuttlefish and Kangkung are served with chilly sauce, prawn paste, ground peanuts and a squeeze of lime. Unfortunately for me, I only know how to enjoy the Kangkung, but not the Cuttlefish nor the Cockles. However, that is good enough for me!!! Yum, Yum!!! Extra squeeze of lime, please!
