M is for Muruku Sellers (ABC Wednesday)

M is for Muruku ~ one of my favourite snacks!

Muruku is a popular South Indian snacks known by most Malaysians. In preparation for Diwali celebration, one can see many muruku stalls selling this delicious snacks. This is the one I saw at Lebuh Ampang, KL. The owner has decorated her stall with Happy Deepavali mobile greetings. They made the stall more festive-like. She is actually frying the muruku in a wok beside her stall.

Hope there would be some muruku for me to munch on when I visit my neighbour's house on Deepavali Day!

Very interesting to take photo of the stalls in the street. ALthough I dont enjoy the shopping but the street scenes are fantastic in KL.

I'd like to try muruku, since I have never had it before. I agree nice colors in the photo.

"Use your first smile, your first form of generosity, of love, of kindness—use it at home; start at home. And if there is something left over—if … your plate is just full of abundance of patience and goodness and smiles and joy, then by all means, you should go … and offer that to others. But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
