This is the school that I went to for my primary education. It is now known as Sacred Heart Cannossian Convent. When I was a student there, it was simply known as Sacred Heart Convent. This school is located close to A'Farmosa Fort, i.e. in Jalan Bandar Hilir, Melaka. As you can see from the date on this photo, the school is already 52 years old.
After I finished my primary school here, I continued to further my secondary education in Sacred Heart Convent Secondary School that is located quite a distance from here, in the Portuguese Settlement in Ujung Pasir.

Here is a religious school isn't it?
You are right Istanbul Daily Photo. This school was started by Catholic missionaries. Our headmistress and some teachers were nuns. We were taught about spirituality e.g. prayers, hymn singing, moral class and we have Mass on every first Friday of the month. We have a little chapel where we go very often during recess time, especially during exams. Althought I am not a Catholic, the spiritual lessons that I got in the school turns me into a very complete individual today. I appreciate the lessons I learnt there.
I agree with you. I too have studied at Gloria Convent Girls School in Mumbai, which is a Catholic school, and I owe my personality to all that I learnt there.
