My World Tues - Living Your Life to the Fullest

Going to the nurseries in Sg. Buluh is one of the many simple pleasures in life that I enjoy. Usually, I will take leave on my birthday and visit the nurseries there. I would first spend my morning with a cup of Kopi-O (black coffee) at the coffee shop there and then proceed with visiting the nurseries. The morning air is always fresh and cool there as it is located at the foot of some hills.

I had spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon just walking through these nurseries. Hope you enjoy the sight of these lush, green plants and colourful, attractive bougainvillaes!

Visit That's My World Tuesday's posting here.

As today's posting is about my world, I would also like to share this farewell letter that I wrote for my beloved family and friends. During our last cell group meeting, we were all asked to write a Farewell Letter as if we were to leave this world the next day.

It was a good practice to think over what you want to say to your loved ones and how you want your passing away to be celebrated. Some of us had a difficult time to write it out. Many of us were made to think hard about it. It was a good exercise and I want to share it with all of you. It is good to think about what you want to write now then May be it will trigger you to write one too.

Happy Birthday JC. Hope you have a wonderful celebration with family and friends.

I too write one of these too each time I travelled and wrote down a list of where to find my documents in case of emergency and I renew them each time I go out of the country...lol.

I even make a slide of all my photos from childhood to adults just in case so that my future grandchildren can access to the slides...hehehe.

Happy, happy birthday, and many more. I wouldn't wait for my birthday, though, to visit this outstandingly beautiful nursery.

And I really can't decide what is more beautiful: your letter, or the flowers and plants. What a good idea to write a letter like this. I think my letter would be tear-stained.

Thanks to all who sent me your warm wishes. Unfortunately last Sat wasn't my birthday. I love spending my birthday at the nurseries. But I also go there whenever I feel like doing so. Last Sat's outing was because I want to go there to take some photos and enjoy the greens there. I am very sorry if what I wrote caused the confusion.

Thanks anyway to all of you!

"Use your first smile, your first form of generosity, of love, of kindness—use it at home; start at home. And if there is something left over—if … your plate is just full of abundance of patience and goodness and smiles and joy, then by all means, you should go … and offer that to others. But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
