ABC Wednesday - 'O' is for Orchard

Durian trees

Duku Langsat tree

Pineapple plant

Today's theme for ABC Wednesday is 'O' and I have picked 'Orchard' to be featured for the theme. This is the orchard where Alokarama retreat centre is set up. It is a 22 acres piece of lands with fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs planted in its compound.

Visit what everyone has posted for the theme 'O' at the ABC Wednesday portal!

I bet you will surprise a lot of people who don't know how pineapples grow.

Lovely photo.

I like these photographs. I remember seeing Pineapple plantations in Hawaii a long, long time ago.

Hi!
Awesome photos! That second picture, I never heard of that fruit, but it kind of looks like a Kiwi. Love fresh Pineapple. Your so lucky to have it so close. Have a great day!!

So that's what a durian tree looks like! I know the smell from when I lived in Indonesia! Great photos!

Fascinating to see other varieties of fruit which we never see on sale here! I've never heard of the duku langsat, but I think I read of the durian on your blog once before.

Funny to see a pineapple growing, too, though I did know about those before.

Nice fruit snaps.

But we must begin at home." by Dr Robin Smith
